About Us
The Environmental Committee (formerly the Ecology and
Solid Waste Committee) is an advisory committee of the Village of
Hales Corners, and is comprised of seven citizen members.
The Committee advises the Village Board on yard waste reduction and disposal,
environmental protection, and forestry programs. Public awareness is the primary
focus.
Current members of the Environmental Committee are Donald Paulus, and
Barbara Voss. The Board Liaison is Ken Meleski.

Welcome
The Committee typically meets at 7pm
on the second Tuesday of the month at
the James R. Ryan Municipal Building,
5635 South New Berlin Road.

citizen interest form at Village Hall.
Of course, everyone is encouraged to
attend our meetings and get involved in

Hales Corners Environmental Committee
Attention Hales Corners Village Residents:
The Hales Corners Environmental Committee (HCEC) has an opening for
a village resident member.
The HCEC is a seven person volunteer advisory committee that reports to
the Hales Corners Village Board. The purpose of the HCEC is to research
and advise the Village Board on a variety of matters, focusing on
environmental protection and raising public awareness on environmental
issues.
The committee meets one evening (about two hours) a month at the
Village Hall. They also plan and implement occasional environmental
awareness-related events within the Village. This committee does not
require a big time commitment but still has a positive impact on the Hales
Corners community.
